Every year we get a physical, an eye exam, and a teeth cleaning...but what about our ears? Quite often our patients share they can't remember the last time they had their hearing checked. Why is that? Having a routine hearing check is important. Much like a routine eye exam, having your hearing evaluated tells us not only how you are hearing, but how well your auditory system is working as a whole. Routine checks year-to-year can tell us if you're experiencing subtle changes in your hearing and understanding, as well as indicate other possible changes in your health.
With communication being key in every aspect of life, it's important to ensure you are hearing your best and not unknowingly missing out.
If you haven't had your hearing checked in a while, we encourage you to take the next step and schedule a consultation. If loved ones are encouraging you to have your hearing checked, it could be a sign you may be missing more than you think.
